转向节主销是汽车上重要的零件之一,它的质量关系着汽车行驶的安全。我厂生产的解放牌载重汽车转向节主销是用45~#钢制造的,采用中频淬火工艺,零件表面淬火区的硬度为HRC58—63,硬化层为2～4mm,零件简图见图1。主销采用中频淬火工艺后的生产过程中(原来为18CrMnTi钢采用渗碳工艺),曾出现严重的淬火裂纹。裂纹在零件的整个淬火表面上沿圆周方向有规律地分布。裂纹长度为3～5mm,深度为0.2～0.4mm。裂纹的分布形式见图2。
