河南省邓州市太子岗遗址位于邓州市西北部,为穰东镇辖地(图一)。这里地处南阳盆地北部白河流域平原区,地表径流丰富,现距遗址最近的河流为西边5里处的赵河(流入白河支流湍河),但据说遗址附近还有古河道。遗址具体的位置在穰东镇镇南、郑庄以北、关庄以西的一片地方,以GPS定位,大致在东经112.285°~112.292°,北纬32.840°~32.846°的范围内。遗址发现于1957年,后经邓州市和南阳地区文物保护单位调查确认为新石器时代遗址,有仰韶文化、屈家岭文化和龙山文化时期遗存,
Prince Edward Temple in Dengzhou City, Henan Province, is located in the northwestern part of Dengzhou City and is the town under the jurisdiction of Qiongdong (Figure 1). It is located in the plain area of the Baihe River basin in the northern part of the Nanyang Basin. The surface runoff is abundant. The nearest river to the site is the Zhao River (flowing into the White River tributary) which is 5 miles to the west, but there are ancient rivers nearby. The specific site of the site is located in the south of Zhengdong Town, north of Zhengzhuang, and west of Guanzhuang. The location of the site is located in the range of 112.285 ° ~ 112.292 ° East longitude and 32.840 ° ~ 32.846 ° North latitude by GPS. The site was discovered in 1957 and was later confirmed as a Neolithic site by the cultural relics protection units of Dengzhou City and Nanyang.
