在一处年降雨只有需要量一半的地区,对四种不同灌溉的处理试验,从1967~1975年在二种不同的果级里。分析甜橙(品种玛尔斯、伏令夏)葡萄柚(品种红宝石)果汁中的汁量、糖度、柠檬酸、悬浮物、维生素丙、酸碱度、柚苷等成份所得的结果是:灌溉在各年间对果汁品质影响程度视当年降雨的多寡及其分布状况而异。其中维生素丙、果汁量、悬浮物的含量只是偶然地受灌溉影响。橙类伏令夏的柠檬酸以及葡萄柚的柠檬酸、糖度在两个比较少灌溉的处理区,表现有一定的提高,与降雨没有关系。从多年的灌溉效果来看,各品种果实的果汁、糖类、柠檬酸、悬浮物等的含量,由于增加了经常性灌溉而明显地减少了。
