文化差异是任何从事语言文字工作的人都必须重视的问题;语用学是语言学的一个较崭新的领域,它研究在特定情景中的特定话语,以及如何通过语境来理解和使用语言。本文从英汉两种不同文化的差异入手,提出用语用意义指导翻译,从而实现动态对等翻译。词语,日常谈话中的文化差别和文学翻译三个不同方面的实例,不仅展示了英汉民族之间的文化差异,也说明了译者对比两种语言和文化进行翻译的重要性。
Cultural difference is a problem which must be paid attention to by any person engaged in language work. Pragmatics is a relatively new field of linguistics. It studies specific words in a particular context and how to understand and use language through context. This article starts from the difference between English and Chinese and proposes to use pragmatic meaning to guide translation so as to realize dynamic equivalence translation. Words, daily cultural differences in discourse and literary translation are examples of three different aspects, not only displaying the cultural differences between English and Chinese, but also illustrating the importance of translators in translating the two languages and cultures.
