公共外交是新时期中国外交工作的重要开拓方向,鼓励华侨华人积极参与公共外交是中国公共外交的一个重要渠道和途径。随着中非关系的发展,非洲华侨华人在中国对非公共外交中起到了日益重要的作用,但也面临着诸多制约因素。非洲华侨华人“因地制宜”、切合非洲人的需求,积极探索参与公共外交的途径,不但有利于中国对非公共外交的开展、有利于促进中非民众彼此间认知的加深,也有利于非洲华侨华人自身权益的保护。
