“Harmony between man and nature” view or be regarded as one of the theoretical support of ecological civilization. However, the popular harmony between man and nature is said to be different and requires at least three forms. Confucianism, harmony between man and nature, is an ethical concept of ecology; Taoism is a natural ecology of man and nature; and the third is the concept of harmony between heaven and man in ancient emperors. The emperor himself ordered the emperor to fool the people by the union of heaven and man, and the cruel property was in essence an anti-ecological concept. The first two concepts of heaven and earth are limited to the inner self-cultivation, in the face of the environment are often powerless; the latter concept of nature has a profound impact, in today’s post-emperors era is still a new form. Many literary, cinematic, television works and popular advertisements in the East and West have so far shown a tendency toward the emperor’s power, which is one of the cultural causes of the ecological crisis. How to eradicate this concept of heaven and earth is the mission of ecocriticism in the post-imperial era.
