构建社会主义和谐社会,是我们党从全面建设小康社会、开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面的全局出发提出的一项重大任务。这一重大任务的提出,既适应了我国改革发展进入关键时期的客观要求,又体现了广大人民群众的根本利益和共同愿望。构建社会主义和谐社会的根本保证在于坚持党的领导核心地位,坚持党的团结统一,“以党内和谐促进社会和谐”,既是全党的共识,也是人民的热切愿望。在构建社会主义和谐社会中,我们的各级党委组织部门该担当什么样的重任,又发挥什么样的重要作用?为此,我们特约请一直工作在我省基层党的组织部门的领导者撰文,共同探讨这一问题,并从中选编出有真知灼见的文章一并刊登,以飨读者。
