位于北京东路贵州路口的黄浦剧场,前身为金城大戏院。1933年由国华影业公司经理柳中浩、柳中亮兄弟筹资建造,1934年2月落成开业,是上海专门放映国产电影的影院。黄浦剧场为四层钢筋混凝土结构,占地面积1050平方米,建筑面积2350平方米。当时中国第一部在国际上获奖影片《渔光曲》在金城大戏院首映。1935年5月24日,申通影片公司摄制的影片《风云儿女》也在这里首映,主题歌就是《义勇军进行曲》,电影故事是由著名剧作家田汉执笔的,他刚写完故事文本就被逮捕入狱。
