大学英语教学大纲的颁布以及大学英语四级统考的举行,极大地推动了高校的英语教学实践与教学法研究。笔者在1986级与1987级的一年级学生中进行了两轮教学改革试点工作,取得了比较明显的教学效果,较大幅度地提高了学生四级考试的通过率。在此我们把自己的成功经验与不足之处一并总结出来,与外语界的同行进行交流。本文谈谈以下几个问题:一、我们教学实验的理论基础,二、教学对象,三、教材与教学方法,四、教学效果以及我们的初步结论。
The promulgation of college English syllabus and the holding of CET-4 exams have greatly promoted the study of English teaching practice and pedagogy in colleges and universities. The author carried out two rounds of teaching reform pilot work among first grade students in 1986 and 1987 and achieved relatively obvious teaching effects, which greatly improved the passing rate of students’ fourth grade examination. Here we summarize our own successful experiences and shortcomings and communicate with counterparts in the field of foreign languages. This article talks about the following questions: First, the theoretical basis of our teaching experiment, two, teaching objects, three, teaching materials and teaching methods, four, teaching effectiveness and our preliminary conclusions.
