借代作为一种认知模式在日常生活和作品中被人们普遍应用。在认知语言学中,借代是基于邻近关系且涉及同一域结构内部的映射,它是人类思维方式之一,来源于人类的体验认知。在借代认知模式下,人们借助空间映射和突显理论创造了很多新词,这对现代词汇的发展有重要意义。
Metonymy as a cognitive model is widely used in daily life and works. In cognitive linguistics, the borrowing is based on the neighboring relation and involves the mapping of the same domain structure. It is one of human thinking ways, which is derived from human’s experience cognition. In the cognitive mode of the metonymy, people create a lot of new words with the aid of spatial mapping and highlight theory, which is of great significance to the development of modern vocabulary.
