(国画·1952年)美术点评《百花与和平鸽》是齐白石专门为亚洲及太平洋区域和平会议在北京召开创作的一幅作品。为了创作这一幅作品,齐白石亲自养鸽,观察其动态。在这幅作品中,齐白石用鸽子和百花营造了一个和平、宁静、安详的画境,表达了一个中国老人经历了将近一个世纪的动乱生活之后,对于人类和平的呼唤。作品构图饱满,色彩丰富,笔墨老辣,尤其画面中几只鸽子各具神态,成为整幅画面的点睛之笔。同时,画面中鲜艳的百花和茂盛的树木,祝福党领导下的新中国繁荣富强。
