打开中国地图,可以看到一个西依太行、东临渤海、环抱着首都北京的省份,这就是河北省。河北省面积共19万平方公里,人口有五千万,省会从1968年起设在新兴的工业城市石家庄。河北省地处首都周围,交通四通八达,七条铁路干线通过境内,为以铁路为主要邮政运输手段的河北邮政提供了极大的便利条件。河北的公路交通也十分发达,京津两地公路网与省内公路网形成一体,干线邮路与支线邮路能够合理衔接,从而加快了邮件的传递速度。
Open the map of China, you can see a west Taihang, east Bohai Sea, encircling the capital city of Beijing, which is Hebei Province. Hebei Province has a total area of 190,000 square kilometers and a population of 50 million. The provincial capital was established in 1968 in the emerging industrial city of Shijiazhuang. Hebei Province is located in the vicinity of the capital and enjoys convenient transport links. The seven railway lines pass through the territory of Hebei Province, providing great conveniences for Hebei Post which uses railways as the main postal transport means. Hebei’s road traffic is also very well developed. The road network between Beijing and Tianjin is integrated with the provincial highway network, and trunk routes and feeder routes can be reasonably linked, thus speeding up the delivery of mail.
