磁型铸造是用铁丸代替型砂、用磁力线代替粘结剂,并采用气化模实现浇注的铸造方法,与传统的砂型铸造法比较,具有提高生产效率、改善产品质量、简化工艺流程、消除矽尘危害、便于实现铸造生产机械化、自动化等优点。铸钢车间自1975年开始,经过一年多的实践,初步掌握了生产工艺,并设计制造了磁型浇注线,进入了小批生产阶段。至1976年,已生产合格的铸钢零件12000余件,品种32种,每件重量从1.2到80公斤不等,铸件表面光洁、尺寸准确、加工余量小,收到了显著的技术经济效果。
