英语是我国中职教育课程体系中的重要基础性学科,而英语课堂教学也是中职英语教学的主要途径,课堂教学效率的高低将直接决定英语教学效果的优劣。从目前来看,我国大部分中职学校对于英语教学重视程度不足,且学生英语基础较差,英语教师的课堂教学模式十分单一、乏味,难以激起学生的主动学习热情。同时,中职学校对于英语教学与职业教育的学科整合程度较低,各知识点之间的联系和实际运用十分缺乏,职业英语教育现状令人担忧。对此,若要改变当前中职英语教育的不利局面,那么就必须从课堂教学环节入手,提高英语课堂教学效率。
English is an important basic discipline in the curriculum system of secondary vocational education in China. English classroom teaching is also the main way of English teaching in secondary vocational schools. The efficiency of classroom teaching will directly determine the advantages and disadvantages of English teaching. At present, most of the secondary vocational schools in our country have not paid enough attention to English teaching and the students ’basic English is poor. The English teachers’ classroom teaching model is very single and boring, which makes it difficult to arouse the enthusiasm of students in active learning. At the same time, secondary vocational schools have a low degree of integration of subjects in English teaching and vocational education, lack of connection and practical application of knowledge points, and worrying about the status quo of vocational English education. In this regard, if we want to change the current situation of secondary vocational education in English, then we must start from the classroom teaching to improve the efficiency of English classroom teaching.
