Objective To understand the indoor air quality of Shenzhen Metro Line 1 and its influencing factors. Methods According to the requirements of “Technical Specifications for Health Monitoring in Public Places”, health monitoring was conducted on the station hall, platform and its outdoor control of Line 1 subway station. Results The monitoring results of indoor noise of some subway stations did not reach the standard of health. The indoor illumination of station hall was higher than that of platform site, while the indoor formaldehyde and IP of station hall was lower than that of platform site (p < 0.05). The temperature, humidity, wind speed, noise, CO and air bacteria in station are slightly lower than the platform. In the morning, the temperature, humidity, illumination and CO2 in the morning were lower than those in the afternoon. The total number of formaldehyde and air bacteria monitored in the morning was higher than that in the afternoon, with a significant difference (p <0.05). Conclusion The fresh air quality and the flow of people have an impact on the indoor air quality of the subway station.
