The 11th Asia-Europe Summit will be held from July 15 to 16, 2016 in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. Mongolia formally became a member on the Seventh Asia-Europe Summit held in China in 2008. Located in the middle of the Asian continent, Mongolia, east of Northeast Asia, west of Central Asia, is the most recent passage connecting the Eurasian Continental Bridge. Mongolia hopes to take advantage of its geographical advantages to facilitate the trade and transport between China and Russia through the promotion of the “Prairie Route” plan and become a transport corridor across Europe and Asia and an Asia-Europe interconnection
