Pesticide residues in agricultural products is expected to be resolved. Professor Li Shunpeng from Nanjing Agricultural University as chief expert, “Pesticide residue microbial degradation technology in vegetables and tea on the pilot demonstration ” project has been included in the “national agricultural science and technology leap-frog plan.” The technology can degrade more than 80% of pesticide residues in soil and crops. In recent years, nearly 500,000 mu have been popularized in Jiangsu Province. The rice produced by this technology in Tuqiao, Jiangning County won the first green food title in Nanjing . Pesticide residues have long been a problem that has plagued the province’s crop production. The pesticides currently used in the province are mainly organic phosphorus and pyrethroid, with an annual usage of 5-6 tons and an average of about 1 kg per mu. Due to the very low utilization rate of existing pesticides, the vast majority of pesticide residues in soil and plants, or infiltration of groundwater
