一我与吴小如先生相识是在1982年底。当时他从北京大学中文系,我从北京大学历史系(研究生刚毕业)同时调到北京大学中国中古史研究中心工作。该中心自1983年开始在宋史专家邓广铭先生主持下,接受一项整理标点宋赵汝愚《国朝诸臣奏议》的任务。这部大书现存有二十几部刻本,但皆有不同程度的残缺,而残存部分又与传世的有关宋臣文集的内容文字有不少歧异,点校任务繁重。邓先生要求我们年轻的同志作为一项治史基本功训练,先手抄原文,在抄本上汇萃点校,然后请几位资深学者审阅,合格后方能过录到复印件上。我分担点校该书职官、兵制及边防门部分奏议,
I met Mr. Wu Xiaoru in late 1982. At that time, he was from Peking University Chinese Department, I Peking University Department of History (graduate students just graduated) at the same time transferred to Peking University Chinese Middle History Research Center work. Since 1983, under the auspices of Mr. Tang Guangming, an expert in the Song Dynasty, the center has accepted the task of finishing the punctuation Song Zhao Ruyu’s “Songs and Ministers’ Proposal”. There are more than twenty books in this large book, but they all have varying degrees of incompleteness. However, the remnants of the remaining books are quite different from those handed down from the Song Dynasty anthologies. Mr. Deng asked our young comrades to train as a basic historical masterstroke, hand-copying the original text and preparing a copy of the school on a transcript. He then asked a few senior scholars to review them before they could pass a photocopy. I share some of the school officials, soldiers and border guards part of the fight,
