Objective To understand the general situation and distribution characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) in this hospital and provide the safety guarantee for clinical rational use of drugs. Methods A retrospective survey was conducted in 281 hospital cases reported from January to December in 2013. Results A total of 166 kinds of drugs were involved in 281 ADRs, of which 166 were in 17 major categories, of which the highest proportion was antibacterial drugs, the other was more intravenous drip than the other routes of administration. The highest proportion of lesions were damaged in the skin and its appendages. Among 15 to 60 years old patients ADR occurs the highest proportion. Conclusions The occurrence of adverse reactions is related to patient’s age, route of administration and type of drugs. Adverse reaction monitoring should be strengthened to reduce or avoid adverse reactions.
