长沙市农民工住房保障体系的建构问题是我们党和政府面临的一个亟待解决的难题。本文以长沙市区农民工住房问题为例,通过对长沙市农民工居住地、住房现状及住房需求的调查,深入分析目前长沙市农民工集中居住地的特点、农民工目前住房的特点及他们对住房的需求特点,并针对目前长沙市区农民工住房存在的租赁市场不健全,住房保障制度不健全,户籍制度的制约等问题,提出了制订长沙农民工住房保障政策,扩大城市住房保障覆盖面,建立有效的农民工住房保障管理体系等相应的对策和解决方案,同时对住房的建设模式进行了一定的探索。
