The recent state of Chinese architectural practice has evolved from two seemingly disparate but fundamentally related directions. One is the conceptual model based on Chinese classical gardens, inheriting the intellectual tradition of liberal arts practitioners in building political society, and relying on time and space experience in Chinese landscape painting.
