2016年夏,从没有学过油画,更不懂得油画技巧,被人称为“画坛怪杰”的刘晓宁,却同美国纽约美华艺术画廊老总的手紧紧握在了一起。他将在美国非常有名的林肯艺术中心举办“晓宁西藏风景油画展”。在西藏、画西藏,刘晓宁更多的是得到了一种精神上的享受。雪山、湖泊、草原、枯树、道路……崔永元置身于刘晓宁的西藏风景油画中,当即决定要给他办一个博物馆。中央美术学院教授、油画博士生导师靳之林看到刘晓宁的油画作品后,也禁不住发出这样的评价:“大山熔铸大藏魂,万象无形尽浮盘,谁识本原真面目,我以我心铸真缘。”
