鉴于广大翻译家多次的强烈呼吁,上海翻译家协会以提案方式发出了《关于提高翻译作品出版稿酬标准的一点意见》。“意见”全文如下——在新中国科学技术、文化艺术以及教育出版等事业的发展历程中,翻译功不可没,及至今日进入全球化时代,其作用依然不可替代。翻译工作是在科学发明、技术创新、文学创作、艺术创造领域的跨文化跨语言原创,并为促进上述领域的进步、发展和繁荣做出了巨大贡献,同时还提供了具有完全著作权意义上的作品(成果)。因此,对于翻译工作者的智力和体力劳动成果即翻译作品,理所当然地应该给予符合其社会影响、学术水准、劳动强度水平的报酬,并根据不同时期经济发展和物价水准及时予以调整。
In view of the strong plea of translators many times, the Shanghai Translator's Association issued a “Proposal on Improving the Standard of Remuneration of Translation Works Published” by way of a proposal. The full text of Opinions is as follows - In the course of the development of the cause of science and technology, culture and arts, and education and publishing in New China, translation can not be neglected and its role in today's globalization remains irreplaceable. Translation work is cross-cultural and cross-language original in the field of scientific invention, technological innovation, literary creation and artistic creation. It has made great contributions to the progress, development and prosperity of the above fields, and at the same time, it has provided a complete copyright Works (results). Therefore, it is a matter of course that translated works, which are the result of intellectual and manual labor of translators, should be given remuneration in line with their social impact, academic standard and labor intensity and be adjusted in time according to the economic development and price level in different periods.
