1998年对田玉兰来说,多少有点纪念意义。这年是她调入张掖地区河西印刷厂的第20年。20年中,河西印刷厂在她和班子成员的共同努力下,由一个只有28万元固定资产、人均利税647元的手工作坊式的小企业发展成为一个具有现代化设备、现代化管理的国有中型企业。到1998年,全厂固定资产比1978年增长了69.4倍,工业总产值增长了8.54倍,上缴利税是1978年的8.33倍,达到1307万元,在全国同行业中名列第52位,在全省连续6年各项经济指标名列前茅。尤其是在近几年国有企业大部分亏损的形势下,河西印刷厂做到了“不欠国家分文税款,不欠职工分文工资,无职工子女未安排就业,无下岗职工”。企业发展到今天,特别是能做到这“两不两无”确属不易,田玉兰20年所付出的心血由此可见一斑。
