标点符号是书面语言的有机组成部分,是书面语言不可缺少的辅助工具,它帮助人们更加确切地表达自己的思想感情和理解他人的语言。现在通行的标点符号有14种,分为点号和标号两大类。点号是表示语言中的种种停顿的,标号主要是标明词语或句子的性质和作用的。点号因所表示的停顿的长短可分为不同的等级:。 >?>;>,>、>!一个句子内部用上了不同的几种符号,就可以清楚地显示出层次来。逗号表示一句话中间的停顿,顿号表示句中较短的并列词语之间的停顿.作者可以根据停顿的长短去选用。
Punctuation is an integral part of the written language and is an indispensable aid to written language. It helps people to express their thoughts and feelings more accurately and to understand others’ languages. There are 14 punctuation now available, divided into two categories of point and label. The dot notation indicates various pauses in the language, with the notation mainly indicating the nature and effect of the words or sentences. The pound sign can be divided into different levels due to the length of the pause indicated:. >?>;>,>,>! A sentence with several different symbols, you can clearly show the level to. A comma indicates a pause in the middle of a sentence, and a pause indicates a pause between shorter, parallel words in the sentence.
