党的十四届四中全会《决定》指出,要继续把党的思想建设放在首位。这就要求我们要进一步加强和改进思想政治工作,以配合党的组织和作风建设任务的完成。坚持党的基本路线不动摇,必须坚持邓小平同志反复强调的“两手抓、两手都要硬”的指导方针,只有加强思想政治工作,通过深入细致的宣传教育,使全党和全国人民充分认识党的基本路线和方针政策的正确性,增强贯彻执行的自觉性和坚定性,才能努力去实现党在社会主义初级阶段的伟大政治任务。
The “Decision” of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Party states that it is necessary to continue to give top priority to the ideological construction of the party. This requires us to further strengthen and improve ideological and political work to meet the completion of the task of building the party’s organization and work style. Only by strengthening ideological and political work and by thoroughly propagandizing and educating the entire party and the people across the country should fully understand the principle that we must uphold the guiding principle that Comrade Deng Xiaoping has repeatedly emphasized “both hands and both hands should be hardworking.” Only by doing so can we work hard to realize the great political task of the party in the primary stage of socialism.
