这次岩体评价,是在冶金部地质研究矿化探室和广东冶金地质940队,于1979年编制的“广东大陆部份地球化学综合异常图”和“成矿预测图”的基础上,对三片具有成矿条件的Ⅰ、Ⅱ级远景区内的21个岩体,进行了岩石,土壤地球化学测量.每个岩体均做了岩矿鉴定、硅酸盐分析、及多元素半定量分析,部份岩体做了黑云母、黄铁矿单矿物分析、物相分析.根据所得的一些地化参数进行类比评价,和运用因子分析与点群分析的方法,对岩体的含矿性进行分类评价,获得三个含矿性较好的岩体,这三个岩体是:
