班典旺久,1973年5生于西藏山南扎朗县。著名藏戏表演艺术家,国家二级演员。现任西藏自治区藏剧团副团长;西藏自治区藏剧团主要演员;中华全国青年联合会委员;西藏自治区青联委员;西藏自治区文学艺术界联合会委员;西藏自治区戏剧家协会副主席。班典旺久师从觉木隆派,嗓音高亢明亮、底气饱满、韵味醇厚、收放自如、表演细致入微、唱念俱佳。他热爱本民族戏曲事业、在艺术实践中注重吸收、继承和发扬藏族传统戏曲艺术的精髓,并有着独特的创新和发展,尤其在藏戏表演、唱腔、念白以及囊玛堆谐、卡尔鲁等演唱方面更是独树一帜,是广大藏族群众最为喜欢的藏戏艺术家之一。
