融安县大坡公社福下大队合作医疗是一九六九年办起来的。参加合作医疗的群众占总人口的百分之九十五。当时每人筹款一元为合作医疗经费。到去年十一月结算的结果:三年里平均每人花钱不到一元,还结存一百多元。合作医疗办起来后是坚持节俭的原则,还是大手大脚?这里面是有斗争的。开始有的人说:“合作医疗办的不易,既然办起来了就应该办得象个样子。”反正“羊毛出在羊身上,取之于群众,服务于群众,多花点钱问题不大”。党支部及时纠正了这种错误认识,组织学习毛主席关于“什么事情都应当执行勤俭的原则”的教导,使大家认识到:坚持节俭办合作医疗符合毛主席的革命路线,不注意节省开支,大手大脚,就会增加群众的负担,挫伤群众办合作医疗的积极性,办起来的合作医疗就有垮台的危险。认识提高以后,合作医疗站处处精打细算,合理使用每一分钱,大队革委会非常关心这项工作,由一名大队干部兼管合作医
