My hometown is a small mountain village in Guizhou. Although it is located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, it has four distinct seasons. Although the winter is long, the snow time is short and lasts for up to three or four days. After the arrival of the winter each year, always looking forward to snow, hoping to play a happy few days, after snow, but also hope that the snow will never change, this is a childhood memory. Unexpected events of the day, in 2008, more than half of the southwestern China experienced 50-year-long frozen weather that lasted for more than a month. The mountain village where I live can not escape the bad luck. At the beginning, the children cheered. A week later, the air was gloomy. After two weeks passed without any improvement in the weather, it was getting worse and worse. Increasingly thick ice and snow on the ground, children can not get out because of the door hate, adults worry about food shortages. No one expected the disaster to come and lasted for more than a month. Eventually it caused traffic paralysis, food shortage and water shortage, which posed a serious threat to people’s normal life. It was dark at night and quiet during the day. Due to the interruption of communication, the small mountain village I lived in at that time was totally isolated from the world. Fortunately,
