Ⅰ前言洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室M-6、WX-4小组的成员已在进行最新的两阶段轨道炮计划。一个阶段是同劳伦斯利弗莫尔国家实验室一个小组合作进行的。另一个阶段是由洛斯阿拉莫斯单独进行的。两个阶段中,采用洛斯阿拉莫斯设计的爆炸磁通压缩发电机作为驱动轨道炮的外部电源。在洛斯阿拉莫斯试验的阶段,设计的炮称作组合的轨道炮,这些轨道也可作为磁通压缩发电机的部件。这样,炮本身将是第二级磁通压缩发电机。
I. Introduction Members of team M-6, WX-4 at Los Alamos National Laboratory are already conducting the latest two-phase rail gun program. One phase was done in collaboration with a team from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The other stage was done by Los Alamos alone. In both phases, the explosive flux compression generator designed by Los Alamos was used as the external power source for the rail gun. In the Los Alamos test phase, the artillery was designed as a combined rail gun, which could also be used as part of a flux-compression generator. In this way, the gun itself will be a second-stage flux-compression generator.
