速生丰产林就是要缩短成材年限,提高单位面积上的木材产量。速生丰产林一般每亩只有18～44株,死去1株就对木材产量影响很大,所以,提高造林成活率,是确保林木速生丰产的基础,我区制定的《杨树速生丰产林栽培技术要点(试行)》中规定:速生丰产林的造林成活率要求达到97%以上,但是,目前一些单位和群众还没有完全掌握速生丰产林的营造技术,造林成活率与规定要求还有很大差距。因此,不断提高造林技术水平,确保造林成活率,是当前我区速生丰产林建设中的一个重要问题.
