Objective: To investigate the changes and significance of Foxp3 in acute Kawasaki disease. Methods: Totally 18 children hospitalized for acute Kawasaki disease were enrolled in our hospital. Fifteen healthy children were enrolled in this study. Venous blood was collected from children. Flow cytometry was used to determine FOXP3 protein and ubiquitination-related factors. Results: The expression of Foxp3 and USP7 in Kawasaki disease group was lower than that in control group, and the expression of STUB1, HSP70 and p STAT3 were higher than those in control group (P <0.05) Lower than before treatment (P <0.05). CONCLUSION: The FOXP3 protein ubiquitination in children with Kawasaki disease may be significantly altered in acute stage. The FOXP3 protein ubiquitination expression is improved after treatment. In the pathogenesis of Kawasaki disease, FOXP3 protein ubiquitination has a significant relationship with its existence.
