武汉电缆附件厂,曾一度被迫转产建筑机械,萧条得几乎被人遗忘,现在却又出人意料地崛起。400多职工的集体企业,竟拥有一个六室一办规模的研究所,先后研制成功八种新产品,其中四种填补了国家空白。“热收缩套管”荣获国家经委颁发的“金龙奖”,国际市场有了它的一席之地,产品行销新加坡、马来亚和香港等地。产值和利润从1980年到1984年平均每年递增20%,五年翻了一番,去年人均产值18,700元,人均利润4,500元。今年一季度,继续出现大幅度上升趋势,产值比去年同期增长75%,利润比去年同期增长38%。
Wuhan Cable Accessories Factory, once forced to switch to construction machinery, was almost forgotten in depression, but now it has risen unexpectedly. The collective enterprise with more than 400 employees actually has a six-room, one-run research institute. It has successfully developed eight new products, of which four have filled the national gap. “Heat Shrink Tubing” won the “Golden Dragon Award” issued by the State Economic Commission. The international market has its place. The products are sold in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Output value and profits have increased by an average of 20% per year from 1980 to 1984 and have doubled in five years. Last year, the per capita output value was 18,700 yuan, and the per capita profit was 4,500 yuan. In the first quarter of this year, there continued to be a significant upward trend. The output value increased by 75% over the same period of last year and the profit increased by 38% over the same period of last year.
