我区地处江汉平原,河流湖泊星罗棋布,地下水位高,湿度大,在棉花苗期,常常遇到寒潮和连阴雨,以致棉苗烂根死苗极为严重,常年棉苗根病率达30—70%,死苗7.5—20%,严重的死苗缺窝达30%以上。因此,棉苗根病是我区棉花一播全苗、壮苗早发、夺取高产的一大障碍。以往我区群众预防棉苗根病多用有机汞类农药处理棉种,防病效果虽较明显,但是使用汞制剂农药又出现了污染问题。为了解决这一问题,我们从1972年起在现有农药中试图找出代替汞制剂处理棉种的药剂。我们采取小区对比试验和
