Ningxia, once the North Road to the world-famous ancient Silk Road, played an important role in the trade between the Chinese nation and West Asia and Europe. Ningxia Guyuan unearthed 鎏 gold and silver bottles, glass pinnacle bowls and other ancient Persian precious relics, it fully demonstrated the prosperous this ancient trail of international trade scene. With the development of the modern economy in the world, maritime transport has rapidly replaced land trade. The pearl of Ningxia, once known as “emboldened the Jiangnan”, was abandoned on the edge of the remote inland desert and gradually forgotten. Even in the more than 30 years after its liberation, Ningxia’s foreign trade merely brought out the slightest bit of agricultural and sideline products exported by the state.
