俄罗斯科学院新化学问题研究所发明一系列袖珍高灵敏气体浓度探测器。探测器主要元件是固体电解质片,它可探测完全确定的气体——CO、CO_2、I_2、H_2等。在每片电解质一面电极上的电势恒定,而另一面电极上的电势随气体浓度而改变。两极之间的电势差可以用普通或专用伏特计测量。该研究所还发明另一种型号气体浓度探测器,它可以使电势差转变成频率——通过电缆输入电子计算机。
Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of New Chemical Problems invented a series of pocket-sensitive gas concentration detector. The main element of the detector is a solid electrolyte sheet, which can detect perfectly defined gases - CO, CO_2, I_2, H_2 and so on. The potential on one electrode of each electrolyte is constant while the potential on the other electrode changes with the gas concentration. The potential difference between the two poles can be measured using a normal or special voltmeter. The institute also invented another type of gas concentration detector, which can be potential difference into the frequency - through the cable into the computer.
