THE Panshan Mountains scenic area in Jixian County, Tianjin, is an attractive state level sightseeing spot east of Beijing. On summer weekends people like to go to nearby scenic spots; Shiquyuan (the Garden of Stone Delights) in the Panshan Mountains is a favorite with residents of Beijing and Tianjin. Shiquyuan, located to the south of the main peak of the Panshan Mountains, is 88 kilometers from Beijing. In July, the highest temperature here is 26 degrees centigrade
