蓖麻是无限开花结实作物,生长期间易发生多次分枝,各次分枝之间相互竞争,不断地伸向四面八方,消耗大量养分和水分,使大批蒴果不能成熟。尤其是高产的塔穗蓖麻,分枝多,果穗长,结果多,如不及时进行整枝,会使蓖麻植株非常庞大,枝叶犬牙交错,严重影响产量。搞好蓖麻整枝,能合理的分配营养物质,强化光合作用,控制生长发育,增加座果数量,减少荫蔽,有利早熟,增加产量,改进品质。
