四川省广元市朝天区地处秦巴南麓、川陕结合部,素有“秦蜀锁钥、川北门户”之称。全区幅员面积1613平方公里,境内以山地地貌为主,坡度在25度以上的陡坡耕地达75%以上,属四川盆周山区、川陕革命老区、国家新时期扶贫开发工作重点县区、汶川特大地震重灾区。近年来,朝天区认真落实国家退耕还林政策,持续保护生态环境,大力发展林业经济,有效促进了农民增收,加快了脱贫攻坚进程。
Chaotian District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province is located in the southern foot of Qinba, Sichuan and Shaanxi combined department, known as “Qin Shu lock key, North portal”. The region covers an area of 1613 square kilometers, the territory of mountainous terrain, steep slopes above 25 degrees in more than 75% of the arable land, belonging to mountainous areas in Sichuan Basin, Sichuan and Shaanxi Revolutionary Old Areas, national poverty alleviation and development of key counties, Wenchuan Heavy earthquake stricken areas. In recent years, Chaotian District has earnestly implemented the national policy of returning farmland to forests, continuously protected the ecological environment, vigorously developed its forestry economy, effectively boosted farmers’ incomes and accelerated the process of poverty alleviation.
