不论怎样,当中国泰州“战舰与城市”论坛暨征文总结表彰大会落下帷幕时,当握别最后一批客人离开泰州时,我、我们的工作人员几天来绷紧的神经,这才松了下来,这才感觉倘佯在“水兵母亲城”的怀抱是如此地温暖和惬意。就像我们在《战舰与城市》征文作品集的后记中写到的那样,仅靠我们《当代海军》杂志社的力量是远远不够的。这得益于多方面的支持。而这次盛会的圆满成功,首功应归于我们的“水兵母亲城”。对“水兵母亲城”有真正的印象,是在去年泰州举行的纪念海军成立55周年活动上,那一次我有幸接触了“水兵母亲城”中的两位极具代表性的人物,一位是城里最大的官——中共泰州市委书记
