凡是有人生活的地方,都离不开衣食住行四件大事,四件大事中,穿衣又是列在第一位的。西藏高原平均海拔4000多米,地势高,天气冷,拉萨全年平均气温只有7.5度,藏北更是零下2度左右,穿的问题当然就显得更具体,更迫切了。这里自古不产棉麻,又难以种桑养蚕。穿的东西,做衣服的材料,主要是毛皮和氆氇。 氆氇是用羊毛家织的毛料,藏族人用它缝制衣裤和藏袍、藏帽、藏靴,这是西藏高原上最普遍、最常见、最有民族特性的穿着。 记得20世纪60年代,我在西藏的时候,看到从城镇到农村,从前藏到后藏,从林芝到昌都,几乎所有男女老幼,都穿氆氇缝制的
