古人说“天下上元,花灼之盛,无逾闽中。”“花灼”指的就是花灯,绚丽多姿地繁盛在“闽中”——泉州。所以,泉州自古就有“月牵古塔千年影,虹挂长街十里灯”的盛况,每当正月十五晚上,闹花灯的场面轰轰烈烈,冠绝于天下。
