克雷顿(Creighton)联合企业是国际镍公司最老的一个企业,据称它拥有本公司的某些最先进的技术成就。克雷顿9号竖井深7000英尺,是西半球最深的一个竖井。由于采矿作业处于矿体深部,所以通风方面也取得很大成绩。目前有一部分矿体,采用大孔径的深孔落矿采矿法进行开采,这种方法是近几年来由Inco研究出来的。它可用来开采沉积在热液岩石中的矿石。它的设计能力为8000吨/日。
