在湿地松种源、种间试验和湿地松种源试验基础上选择性引进了美国3个州种子园单亲子代111个,分别在江西省赣南、赣中、赣北进行多点多年份遗传测定,总面积40hm2,试验论证了湿地松树木改良进行多点家系选择的重要性。在科学实验基础上,赣南赣中各选出18个优良家系,赣北选出22个优良家系,平均遗传增益树高11.94%~22.97%,胸径12.83%~28.46%.全省选出优良单株150株,平均遗传增益树高20%~25.60%,胸径13.30%~15.80%.并注意适应性选择,选出适合全省推广的广谱型优良家系9个,平均遗传增益树高胸径都在10%以上。佛罗里达群体入选的优良家系占总入选的56.09%,说明该群体有广泛遗传基础,其增产潜力不可忽视。试验紧扣种源-群体-家系-单株,各层次的遗传差异、谱系关系较清楚,为今后江西省湿地松无亲缘关系优良家系间组配、控制授粉、多系测交、轮回选择、累加增益等高世代育种奠定理论、物质基础,符合当今世界多群体育种策略。
