NO.10 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk1Mk1 is the first generation of Volkswagen Golf GT models, pioneering a high-performance version of the golf car. Based on Scirocco’s development, the designer built the first Golf GTIMk1 in September 1975 by strengthening the suspension system, adding a carburetor, and installing a nearly straight-through, oversize exhaust pipe. However, due to the first-generation golf GTI used to subvert the traditional style and performance, the speed has not reached the expected hope that the initial public offering has not been recognized by the industry, the company’s top nor too high expectations. They think Mk1 will not sell more than 500 cars at most. To everyone’s surprise, the car sales that year actually broke 5000. This greatly stimulated the public high-level production of such vehicles, from the official opening of the Golf GTI high hatchback legend. Today 38 years later, Golf GTI has become a spirit that brings more control and passion to ordinary consumers.
