Professor Tang Yunwei, the dean of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics who was elected as the 1996 Distinguished International Visiting Lecturer by the American Accounting Association, successfully completed a one-month lecture and returned to Shanghai recently. The American Accounting Association has named two distinguished international visiting scholars each year since 1976, one from nine universities in the United States or Canada to the world beyond the United States and Canada, and one from the United States and Canada Other countries, to the United States or Canada, nine lectures.
