2013年9月7日,习近平总书记在中亚访问过程中提出“新丝绸之路经济带”的构想,发展“新丝绸之路经济带”成为国家战略规划。2100多年前,起于中国的丝绸之路,横贯欧亚非、宁夏,正是这条“经贸玉带”上的必经驿站;2100多年之后,中国再次向世界宣示:“推动丝绸之路经济带的建设”。宁夏将再次成为丝绸之路经济带的战略支点。
On September 7, 2013, General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the concept of “new Silk Road Economic Belt” during his visit to Central Asia and developed “the new Silk Road Economic Belt” into a national strategic plan. More than 2100 years ago, the Silk Road from China traversed Eurasia and Ningxia and it was the only post station on this “trade jade belt.” After 2100, China once again declared to the world: “The Silk Road Economy Belt construction ”. Ningxia will once again become a strategic fulcrum of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
