同志们: 这次自治区化工工作会议,是十五大之后召开的第一次全疆化工工作会议。会议的主要任务是:高举邓小平理论的伟大旗帜,以十五大精神为指引,传达贯彻中央经济工作会议、全国化工厅局长会议、自治区党委五届四次全委扩大会议精神,总结1997年的工作,提出1998年的主要任务及我区化学工业跨世纪发展目标,动员全区化工职工以跨世纪的气魄和胆略开创新疆化工基地建设的新局面。
Comrades: The conference on chemical industry in the autonomous region is the first meeting of Xinjiang Chemical Industry held after the 15th National Congress. The main tasks of the conference are to hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and to follow the spirit of the 15th CPC Congress and convey the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the meeting of chief directors of the National Chemical Industry Institute and the Fourth Plenary Session of the Fifth Central Committee of the Regional Party Committee to sum up the 1997 Work, put forward the main tasks in 1998 and the cross-century development of chemical industry in our region to mobilize the region’s chemical workers to cross-century courage and courage to create a new situation in the construction of chemical bases in Xinjiang.
