“Coveted a long time.” A good summary of our longing for tourism in Shanxi. “When we drove through the mountains north and south of Shanxi, the strongest impression was that Shanxi was a national treasure everywhere.” This is the first remark made by Shan Zhizheng, editor in chief of the Chinese National Geographic magazine, in his opening remarks. “Shanxi everywhere is a national treasure.” Simple seven words, but there are infinite allure. Known as “China Ancient Art Museum,” laudatory name of Shanxi, retains 70% of the country’s ancient ground architecture. The number of existing ancient buildings and the history of Shanxi, the highest artistic value of all ranks first in the country. “Ten Years of China Looking at Shenzhen, a Century of China Looking at Shanghai, a Thousand Years of China Looking at Xi’an and a Thousand Years of China Looking at Shanxi.”
